I’m so excited to bring this post to y’all today because let’s be honest… we all love saving money. If you’re reading my blog, odds are, you love style, beauty, and shopping. There are a few easy ways that I save money while shopping! p.s. The collage images above are clickable! Drag your mouse over the item you like and it will take you to it.
- Wait for sales. Before you click away because this seems like total common sense, stick with me here. One of the main ways that I save money is by waiting for items to go on sale. I primarily shop at Nordstrom and their “wishlist” feature makes it super easy. If there is an item I love, I add it to my wishlist. Almost every day, I scroll through my wishlist and see if anything has gone on sale. I kid you not, every few days, an item goes on sale. Nordstrom runs sale items all the time… even when it’s not a huge storewide sale.
2. Save on trendy items. Overall, I fill my closet with simple, classic items like great jeans, tees, and tanks. I don’t mind investing in those pieces because they are closet staples year after year. However, I do like to add some cute trendy pieces like this fringe pullover from time to time. For these types of items, I go inexpensive every time. I definitely cannot justify spending lot on an item that I only plan to wear for a reason. SheIn (c/o) is a great option for buying trendy, inexpensive clothing. If you read the reviews and look at the customer submitted photos, I think you will be impressed with you receive. The quality definitely isn’t on par with high end brands, but the pieces I’ve purchased have been perfect to last for a season or two.
3. Get rebates through eBates. eBates is the very easiest way to save money on just about everything online. You make an account, shop from the online store of your choice, and you automatically earn a certain percentage of your purchase as a cash back rebate. For example, if I want to order from the Adidas website, I would go onto the eBates website or app, click “adidas,” and it will automatically direct me to the website. You complete the order as normal, but then they give you a rebate for shopping through eBates. The best part is that they run double cash back specials with certain stores, so i’ve been able to get up to 15% cash back before.
These tips have saved me thousands of dollars over the years. I don’t like to make shopping complicated or sift through clearance racks to save money. These tips make it super easy to shop normally but save while I do. If you have any magic tips for saving money, PLEASE comment below… this girl doesn’t say no to saving money. Hope y’all have the best week!
